The nights are getting longer, the weather’s getting hotter and it’s time to celebrate. Party season has to be one of the best times of the year. Finally catching up with everyone you’ve been meaning to see for months, enjoying the balmy weather and just getting a chance to relax.
One of my favourite places to kick back in the company of good friends would have to be The Star Sydney. It has amazing restaurants, a beautiful rooftop bar (The Sky Terrace) overlooking all of Sydney and the service is always top-notch.
Come summer, we all know it doesn’t really matter what night of the week it is – Fridays and Saturdays are no longer the be-all and end-all, and in fact I would go so far as to say that Thursday is the new Friday! That’s where The Star’s “Roll on Thursday” comes in.
On the Sky Terrace, you can watch the sun go down, grab a cocktail and enjoy the tunes from 5pm every Thursday. As a special treat for foodies, the culinary masters from The Star will bring their signature dishes to the rooftop. Each signature restaurant will host a pop-up dining experience each week with a special menu offering. Roll on Thursday, alright!
