Too many people think that winter fashion means black, grey, brown and more black. I mean, don’t get us wrong, we do love our classic monochrome looks and of course, some colours work better in warm weather. But rather than kicking colour out the door completely, we recommend simply working with a different palette.
When we talk about winter colour palettes, we’re talking about rich, dark hues that flatter your body and compliment your probably not-so-sunkissed skin. Take this gorgeous bell sleeve top for instance. The deep colour, which sits somewhere between navy and plum, brings out the warmer tones in my skin and hair. With flowing bell sleeves and an off-the-shoulder style, this top is also bang on trend this season.
Here, we’ve paired the top with black skinny leg pants, strappy black heels and a statement clutch to create a classic, feminine-chic look.
