Here are a few swap ideas and we’ve calculated the calories you’ll be spared:
Swap 100g of pasta for 100g of spinach and save 123 calories
Your usual pasta sauces are even tastier when eaten with spinach – promise!
Swap 20g of butter for 40g of avocado and save 98 calories
Avocado is just as satisfying as butter but sooo much better for you. Try avocado and vegemite on toast instead of the standard butter and vegemite. It might sound weird but we reckon it’s pretty tasty.
Swap a Mars Bar with Greek yoghurt and blueberries and save 133 calories
It satisfies your sweet tooth without the massive sugar overload.
Swap a Coca-Cola with a Lipton Ice Tea and save 138 calories
It’s more refreshing and you won’t feel bloated afterwards.
Swap a toasted cheese sandwich with 6 celery sticks scooped with a generous serving of peanut butter and save 86 calories
This is also more nutritious so it’s better all round!
