We get a lot of questions about denim at SWIISH HQ. What’s in, what’s out, what’s hot, what’s not. And so in honour of Jeans for Genes Day today, we thought we’d focus our SWIISH fashion masterclass today on all things denim.

Now – back to our masterclass. We have no doubt that everyone owns at least one denim item in their arsenal but to be a real denim aficionado, you must have these four items. They are all versatile and timeless pieces that you will literally have for years to come; you can’t complain about that!
This fun take on denim is super flattering, sooo pretty and just an all-round great outfit. Add a pair of tan wedges for a look that screams summer barbeque or add sneakers for a casual day out.
Denim skirts are the bomb dot com and are honestly the It Girl item of the year. Linen shirts, graphic tees, ankle boots, heels, and sneakers – you name it and it will look good with a denim skirt.
Our favourite vintage denim jacket (shop similar looks here) looks just as cute over a dress and sneakers as it does over jeans and boots. It’s the perfect lightweight jacket that will take you from winter to summer in style.
We don’t think we need to tell you how good denim jeans are but to put it frankly, if you don’t have a pair (who even are you?!), you need a pair. Stat.
