Smoothie bowls, chia bowls, breakfast bowls, Buddha bowls, nourishing bowls, macro bowls, quinoa bowls… the list goes on, and so it should. Bowls are taking the world by storm.
This isn’t just a passing fad, bowls are here to stay: they’re a way of eating a whole rainbow of deliciously nutritious, satisfying ingredients without overdoing it. They look and taste amazing, plus they’re soooo good for you!
So, what’s a bowl made up of? Well, each one is typically a combo of greens, grains, veggies and protein, amped up with special additions here and there, such as fermented foods, special sauces (think tahini sauce) and plentiful toppings.
We’ve taken one of our favourite foods (rice paper rolls!) and turned it into a bowl, the aptly named Deconstructed Rice Paper Roll Bowl. We love this because we get the same amazing Vietnamese flavours but it’s wayyy easier to make because you don’t have to fiddle with the rice paper.
We hope you love this recipe!
