The revival of the 70s dominated the A/W collections at New York Fashion Week this year and we are officially obsessed.
Think high-waisted flared jeans, sweeping bell-bottoms, silk blouses, retro stripes, suede, corduroy, crochet, big hair, and bright colours to liven up your wardrobe.
The earthier neutral trends of orange, nude and brown corduroy are perfect as we enter into the cooler months but don’t be afraid to add a splash of colour to liven things up here and there. After all, the 70s were anything but conventional!
If you’re not into bright colours, gradually add subtle touches to your wardrobe with retro lapel shapes, colour blocking, wide leg and flare pants or platform boots and heels.
