Summer is just around the corner (finally!), and I’m trying to make room in my wardrobe for my big obsession – printed shorts. This season, it’s all about pattern and colour – nothing quite says summer like the fun and frivolity of a hot printed short.
I’ve documented my love of shorts on swiish before – like here and here. They’re easy, comfy and chic. Plenty of celebrities like swiish Women of Style Solange Knowles and Miranda Kerr, are already embracing this trend, but nobody nails this better in our eyes than style icon Olivia Palermo. Whether she’s dressing it up or down, heels or flats, this New York socialite loves her printed shorts.
…and your other option? Go bold! Make a statement and go all out with clashing styles and patterns. Try to keep your prints tonal, or along a similar theme (e.g. graphic, tropical, animal etc.) to make sure the look comes together.
So, embrace the warmer weather, have some fun with colour and rock some printed shorts. I know I will.
