Love me a little colour blocking. What started out as a trend has now totally solidified itself as a fashion classic. It’s stylish and it’s soooo easy. This winter I’ll be colour blocking with all shades but right now am loving navy.
This navy Zara leather skirt did double duty – I wore it to the swiish office for meetings and then went straight out for dinner with my sister Maha. I paired the skirt with this steel grey Camilla and Marc top, but it looks just as good with a white silk cami, neutral loose knit or a simple tank.
For accessories and shoes with colour blocking I opt for nudes or metallic tones. I am besotted with my Gianvito Rossi pumps, they are definitely a big investment buy – but I really believe in cost per wear… I know I’ll get bang for buck on these, as they’re such a classic style. They are definitely my go-to shoe for pulling an outfit together and making it pop. They look fab with denim, LBDs, leather skinnies, white palazzo pants… the list goes on. Plus if I am totally honest – Jackie O made me get them! We had dinner a few weeks earlier and she showed me hers… and then I HAD to have them!
