Recently, she has been making a multitude of lifestyle changes to implement a beauty routine that is more clean, green and natural. So, today she’s giving us a sneak peek into her glow-worthy morning routine…
What does your typical morning routine look like? And how does this set you up for the day?
“My day usually starts VERY early as I have two little boys that wake me up! The first thing I do is have a cup of tea (Echinacea and Lemon are my go-to) and write a list of my intentions for the day which only takes a few minutes but helps me get mentally organised. Then I like to have a teaspoon of SWIISH SUPERGREEN Superfood Powder in a glass of water for a good dose of nutrients first thing and tastes great!
I then make the kids breakfast and have a quick shower and do my morning skincare routine which is simple and fuss-free as it’s all about getting out the door! I cleanse with NIVEA Naturally Good Micellar Wash with Organic Aloe Vera followed by the Sensitive Day Cream. The Micellar Wash makes my skin feel fresh and clean and all of the products in the Naturally Good range are made from up to 99% naturally derived ingredients free of parabens, mineral oils and silicones which I love in my regime. I then follow all of this with sunscreen. I generally go make up free except for my brows which I always fill in! Then we all head out for a morning coffee which is a bit of a ritual for us. We go to our local cafe where I’ll have an oat or almond milk latte and chat to Daz and whoever’s there while the kids ride their bikes. Our local has a real community feel and we love starting our day this way, before the emails and mayhem!”
Do you have a favourite breakfast right now? If so, what is it?
“Dippy eggs with avocado toast or muesli with fresh berries, and if I’m exercising that morning I’ll make a smoothie for some post-workout goodness.”
What are 3 non-negotiables you can’t start your morning without?
“Morning cuddles, coffee and a shower to wake me up!”
