Although you might not feel like it’s quite warm enough yet to be busting out a pair from your closet, we say do it – shorts are actually super versatile all year long. It just comes down to styling. Reinventing the power of shorts, particularly during these trans-seasonal times can be as simple as accessorising with scarves, hats and a faux-fur gilet.
You’ll have already seen new styles hit the stores for Spring 2013 – think scalloped edges, laser-cut, embroidered detailing, leather, studs and zips. Black and white remain the easiest go-to hue meaning that you can continue to embrace the monochrome trend but graphic prints and florals are back too, letting your shorts be the statement maker in your outfit.
