MUST-HAVE ACCESSORIES

As much as we hate to admit it, summer will soon be drawing to an end.  But while we’re mourning the loss of strappy sandals and sun hats, it’s important to remember the positive bits – autumn accessories rock!  Especially the ones in store for the coming months.   

To help you prepare for the cooler months, we’ve put together a list of all the must-have accessories for A/W 2016.  Get on board now and you’re bound to be this season’s top trendsetter.

The neck tie has got to be the number 1 trending item for the season.  It won’t be long until you see them popping up in all your favourite stores!  Keep it classic with a black necktie, skinnies and a white T or brighten it up with a bold print.      

There’s something so glam about fur – even if it’s the faux kind!  This autumn we’re taking the trend to the accessories table with oversized fur clutches.  Go one of this years hottest colours – rose quartz or serenity – to really show off your style.    

Boots are one of those accessories just never go out of style.  Whether they’re ankle, up-to-the-knee or thigh high, it doesn’t matter – as long as the heels are high!  We love them paired with a good pair of skinnies or underneath an oversized trench.  

This sassy little accessory is kind of like the necktie’s skinny cousin.  It quickly gained popularity after being seen on mega-babes -Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin.  To steal their supermodel style, try a silk or velvet choker paired with black jeans and a simple grey T.

Keeping in line with the fur-trim trend, fluffy high-heels are set to be another super hot item this season.  We’d go for a neutral colour if you’re trying this trend for the first time and a brighter version if you’re looking to make a statement.   

Crystal pendants were spotted more than once at A/W fashion week and now it’s time they hit the streets.  We love them layered up with a choker and other, more delicate neck jewellery.  There’s only one rule – the bigger the better!
