Tips For Perfect Lips

I’ve been getting lots of questions in the swiish e-mailbox about how to get lips soft and looking perfectly plump with lipstick. Well – whether you’re obsessed with bright lip colour or the natural makeup trend, this is for you. If you love wearing lipstick but find that your lips crack or you can never get a bold glamourous look that lasts all day, then we have a few easy tricks for you to try.

The first tip is to apply moisturiser before wearing lipstick. This will stop the lipstick from cracking. Then use a clean mascara wand or a soft toothbrush to brush away any excess skin.

Next, for a look that will last all day, add a dab of foundation or concealer to your lips before applying your lip colour.

Then line and fill in your lips with lip liner, to create a base that helps your lipstick to last all day. If you’re wearing a light shade of lipstick, then opt for a nude liner.

Apply a coat of lipstick over the lip liner and then tidy up the edges of your lips with a makeup sponge to get them precise and perfect.

Apply a second coat of lipstick and then finish by applying a long-lasting clear lip gloss.
