Lisa Messenger has got to be one of the most influential businesswomen on the planet. She’s worked across the world in publishing, marketing, PR and event management. She’s the Founder and CEO of The Messenger Group as well as the Editor-In-Chief of The Collective magazine – which by the way is published across 37 countries. She’s an author of several of our favourite must-read books (more on that below) … and well… is basically one of our ultimate power women!
But you guys probably already knew all that stuff, because The Collective mag which Lisa founded, has probably popped up all over your social media feed – it’s a monthly mag that gives real insight and inspiration into the world of entrepreneurs and creatives who are game changers, rule breakers, thought leaders and style makers.

She shows how she established a global brand and launched a huuuuugely successful magazine across the world, without having to borrow a single cent from the bank. That’s right – pretty impressive in our book!
Daring & Disruptive
Whether you’re a young entrepreneur, a serial go-getter or even working your way through the corporate world, dreaming of making it big, ‘Daring & Disruptive’ is the book for you. This book was such an eye-opener for me. It teaches you the importance of maintaining a purpose, staying true to yourself and just taking life by the horns, no matter how scary the circumstances might be. This book offers such a beautiful blend of Lisa’s personal stories and business adventures. It’s definitely worth the read!
Life & Love
Life and Love is the second book in Lisa’s series that looks at a whole-nother dimension of this inspiring lady’s life. Unlike Daring & Disruptive this one is all about (you guessed it) LOVE. As well as joy, happiness, community, authenticity and learning to cope with the emotional rollercoaster of running a successful, multi-platform start-up. The thing I love most about this book is the genuine honesty behind every word.
