With billowing silhouettes, floor-skimming hems, and light swishy fabric, we love this seventies-inspired trend thats popped up on our autumn fashion radar.
Here’s how to rock them…
Lengthen Out
Despite their wide, voluminous legs, when styled correctly, palazzo pants create a flattering and feminine silhouette, and can make you look taller. Cinched waists, crop tops and fitted shirts will balance out the wide leg of the pants as well as giving the illusion of longer legs (and let’s be honest – who doesn’t want longer legs?!)
Sky High
An all-important tip is to wear heels with palazzo pants – grab a pair of suede stiletto sandals, or wedges for a seventies vibe. Ideally, your shoes should be almost covered by the pants – again, this will make your legs look super long.
Day to Night
With bright, floral and abstract patterns, palazzo pants are the perfect addition to your daywear. But you can also dress them up – pair yours with a blazer for an elegant day-to-night outfit a la Kate Moss.
Get Retro
I love pairing my palazzo pants with contrasting accessories for a vintage look. Stock up on long necklaces with tassels, stones and feathers, floppy hats and oversized sunglasses.
