The classics stay classic. One of our favourite trends this season is bold black and white – easy to wear, easy to update, easy to work the trend for both daytime chic and night-time sleek. The celebs are working it in droves, starting with number one fan, Kim Kardashian.
Colour blocking black and white is great for its simplicity; think black leather shorts and a plain white tee, or a loose white blouse over black skinny jeans. In 2013 you’ll also find yourself exploring the trend further – geometric prints, wide stripes, tribal influences and houndstooth all make an appearance.
You can keep your accessories monochromatic, which looks oh so chic. If you wan to add a pop of colour, try a bright statement necklace, scarf or shoes.
