Fake eyelashes are simply transformational. They highlight your eyes and let your eye makeup have a moment all of their own. A few of my girlfriends have been asking how to apply fake lashes as they’ve been a little daunted by the task, worried that they won’t get it right. Follow our swiish guide for a few simple tips on how to apply fake eyelashes for perfect results.
First of all, applying fake lashes will become easier with practice. If you want to go for a bold look for your eyes (which we do), apply your eyeshadow and eyeliner first, before you apply the eyelashes.
- Measure the eyelashes against your eyelids. If they’re a bit longer than your eyelids, then use a pair of nail scissors and cut them carefully from the outside edge.
- Use the glue from the packet and gently squeeze out a small amount. Run it along the rim of the fake eyelashes.
- Gently place them on your eyelids (you can do this with your fingers or use tweezers if it’s easier. Once you have placed them on your eyelid, run your finger along the lashes to secure them against your eyelid. Give the glue time to dry.
- Apply waterproof mascara to finish, making your look even bolder.
