Zesty lemon isn’t only found in the kitchen! This year, bright bold lemon yellow makes its way into your wardrobe too.
Though we saw plenty of yellow in spring and summer, it sticks around for the rest of the year. To say this makes me happy is putting it lightly. As you probably know by now, I love a pop of colour and lemon can really bring your outfit to life.
Spotted on the runways at Louis Vuitton, Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors and Oscar de la Renta, lemon yellow is vibrant, fun, and easy to colour block.
Match it with creams and whites, cobalt blue or black. It’s perfect with pretty much any shade of denim too. If bright lemon yellow skinny pants or even a dress feels like too much, then start with a more pastel shade and work your way towards the brighter than bright shade. Alternatively, statement necklaces over a white t-shirt, drop earrings or a large clutch are all great ways to get you working the trend.
