I’ve gotten quite a few questions from swiish readers recently about rose gold eye shadow. With celebs like Megan Fox, Julianne Hough, Emily Blunt and Diane Kruger looking simply beautiful in this shimmery eye colour, we want to share with you our top picks.
If you didn’t think that wearing rose gold eyeshadow was a way to make your eyes pop, you are in for a pleasant surprise – it is essentially the perfect blend of gold, pink, peach and beige, making it one of the best new neutrals.
To rock the look like these celebs, choose a shade of light rose gold and apply it to your eyelids using a blending brush. You can mix this pretty shade with champagne and bronze colours too, if you would like to add shadow and dimension to your lids. Once your top lids are covered, use a flat liner brush to apply the rose gold eyeshadow to the area just below your lower lash-line so the colour lines your entire eye. Finish with a touch of eyeliner on the inner rim of your lash-line and plenty of mascara for added pop.
