You know when you love something so much you buy it in both colours? And then you wear both so many times that you hope they restock said item every season? This was us (and the whole SWIISH office) with the Make My Day Knit.
We stocked it in navy and black in 2016 and it was so popular that we had to bring both colours back this winter. And because we’re all about bang for buck and getting the most out of every piece of clothing you own, we’ve rounded up our favourite ways to wear these classic knits, so you know how to style yours too. We love the length of this knit because it makes it perfect to dress up for a lunch or dress down for casual weekend errands. Add a pair of denim jeans (any style – we love white or boyfriend jeans) and you’ll be good to go.
Navy and black is no longer a taboo colour pairing and is one of our fave combos because they’re both classic colours. No doubt you have both of these colours in abundance in your wardrobe – we do! Pair them together next time and you have an instantly chic outfit.
Ahhhh, you didn’t think we would forget our good friend black on black, did you? We never could! Dress up the Make My Day black knit with a pair of our favourite pair of black coated skinnies. We get major Olivia Newton John vibes from these coated pants which we are definitely not complaining about. But that’s why we named them The One That I Want Coated Skinnies (yay for Grease!). This outfit looks as equally chic with a pair of killer pumps as it does with a pair of sneakers.
We hate to sound like a broken record but this knit is just so versatile! It pairs perfectly with our favourite LBS (little black skirt) and we love that we can wear this outfit in warmer weather with sandals or sneakers or on cooler days with over the knee boots.
