When the gorgeous Kate Sutton, of Uberkate contacted us recently to ask whether we would be keen to collaborate in the mother of all fights against breast and ovarian cancer, it didn’t take us long to reply with a resounding “YES!”.
If you aren’t familiar with Uberkate, it’s a gorgeous brand that creates personalised jewellery. Both Maha and I both own several Uberkate pieces, and have gifted the Love Lines necklace to our mum and to friends over the years. They are amongst our (and now our mum and our friends’) most treasured possessions.
And as SWIISH readers will know, given Sal’s battle with cancer, fighting for a cure is definitely a cause that’s very close to our hearts. Sal’s illness aside, both of us have had many friends who have sadly been diagnosed over the years. That’s the thing about cancer, it affects everyone, and really doesn’t discriminate. So for us, we appreciate being part of a special campaign such as this one to fight the mother of all fights.
The best part is that you can help too. Mothers Day is just around the corner, and let’s be honest, we’re sure every mum would be thrilled to receive a special something from Uberkate. If you make a purchase from the Pink Opal or Rose Quartz everyday cocktail collection, Uberkate will donate 15% of sales* to preventative cancer charity, Pink Hope. This is also so incredibly special to us, having partnered with Pink Hope before over the last few years on their Pinky Promise campaigns. Pink Hope work tirelessly to ensure that everyone has the chance to assess, manage and reduce their risk of breast and ovarian cancer, while providing personalised support for at-risk women. In short, they’re cancer fighting rockstars!
So join us in the fight by shopping the Uberkate collection here. Plus you can find out more about Pink Hope here.
Below are a few of the images from our collaboration campaign that we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of.
