While we’re all for sporting a natural beauty look, we also absolutely love to get a little more dramatic with our makeup. After all, isn’t that half the fun? Going for a bold eye – think dark eyeliner, volumising mascara and super smoky shadow – is a classic look but one that never gets boring. And now we’ve found some new goodies that have upped our eye game big time.
That’s right – if like us, you’re into the smoky eye look, then we come bearing good news! We recently checked out a few goodies from the Tom Ford Noir Color Collection. And they rock.
For starters, everything Tom Ford is sexy and this range is no different. The collection was inspired by his new signature fragrance, Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme, which is all about intimacy, intrigue and extravagance.
That’s what we love about the range though – there’s no messing around. All the products are deep, dark and rich with colour. Just the way we like it!
For the perfect party look, start with the Cream & Powder eye colour. It’s the best for creating a really great smoky eye because it’s got two layers. The bottom layer is a deep dark colour while the top layer contains an intense shimmery powder with gorgeous, light-catching pearls. The effect is stunning!
Next, use the Tom Ford Eye defining pencil in Navy Black. We think it totally compliments the eyeshadow because while it has a lot of rich black pigments, it’s also got a hint of silver to reflect the light. To finish up use either the Lash Tips Mascara or Waterproof Extreme Mascara (depending on what the night is going to be like!)
And because this is all about a bold eye, then it’s important to keep the rest of the look simple. That’s why the collection includes a gorgeous, creamy nude lip colour for a subtle but sexy pout.
Lastly, finish off with a dark nail lacquer and a spritz of Noir Pour Femme and voila! Your party-perfect smoky, sexy look is done.
