The Ban Bossy campaign is urging people to think constructively about the way they speak to girls, particularly using the word “bossy”. I love this campaign – it makes you think hard about how we refer to girls and women in charge. Celebrities are also working to spotlight the issue – including Beyoncé, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Garner, Condoleeza Rice and Jane Lynch.
