That’s right swiish readers – one of the staple items from the 90s is back – the skort. This time round though, the skort rocks modern details and revamped jagged hemlines (we’ve already raved about those here), making it the most sought-after trend of the summer.
What I love about the skort is that it’s got the sexiness of a mini-skirt with the practicality of wearing shorts. Plus, skorts are super simple to wear. It does most of the styling for you, so whether you want to go sporty, simple or glam, the skort is set to become your new best friend.
For the sports luxe lovers out there, pair your skort with an oversized jersey style shirt or letterman jacket. Top the look off with a baseball cap and sneakers. For something simpler, match your skort with a v-neck tee and converse shoes.
My favourite way to style the look is to stick to one colour – I love love love all white or all black. Add a colour pop shoe or clutch for a look that is bang on trend.
