King of laughs, Judd Apatow (he produced Bridesmaids, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Superbad and a stack of others) delivers another refreshingly hilarious adult comedy, This Is 40.
Remember the characters Pete and Debbie from Knocked Up? This Is 40 expands on their story from the blockbuster hit, and takes a look at the anxieties of a married couple facing the realities of middle age as they both approach their 40th birthdays.
It’s an honest take on the hard truths and strains that lie at the heart of a marriage such as parenthood, work and money, and the movie gives us the balance of both drama and laugh out loud comedy.
Both Paul Rudd as Pete and Leslie Mann as Debbie are brilliant in this film. The swiish team loved This Is 40, it reminded us that sometimes the best way to get through some of life’s stresses is with a sense of humour! This is definitely a film for your summer must-see list!
